The North Yorkshire County Netball Management Board would like to welcome you to the NYNA’s website.  We hope that you find it helpful and informative whether you are a player, coach, umpire or visitor.

North Yorkshire County Netball is one of 4 counties that make up the Yorkshire Netball region.

Netball is a fantastic sport to be involved in and whatever your involvement, there is always a netball opportunity for you.

Our aim is to plan, support, and coordinate the advancement of netball within the county.   

The objectives of the County include: 

• Promoting the game of netball, encouraging and enabling growth and development of the game within the County, acting as an advocate for the sport.  
• Organising and delivering programmes of competitions and events, arranging technical courses and assessments, co-ordinating talent development and generally promoting the delivery of netball within the County in a safe, equitable and inclusive manner. 
• Promoting and upholding the game’s core values of teamwork, respect, enjoyment,   discipline and sportsmanship.

 
Working together with our districts, we deliver netball throughout the county involving participation, competition, officiating and performance.  The county working groups (made up of volunteers) all work extremely hard throughout the year, giving freely of their time, to ensure that netball continues to develop and thrive within North Yorkshire.
