Welcome to the Volunteering Page

“When you volunteer, you are not paid in money or recognition, you are paid in love. People may forget what you said, and people may forget what you did, but they will never forget how it made them feel”

Women On Call.
Netball is predominately an amateur sport. Netball at County and District level relies heavily on volunteers. Here in North Yorkshire County and the local Districts, netballers are blessed with a stalwart group of volunteers who are passionate about the Game and who want to provide as many opportunities for our young players – and our not so young players! - as they can.

But, we are always looking for more volunteers to help. You may not think that you have skills to offer BUT you will have!
Volunteering can take many guises and we need older players, mums, dads, grannies, boyfriends and husbands etc to offer to help in any way and for as much or as little time as you can give.

You won’t get paid in money, but as the quote above says, people will remember how you made them feel! They remember that you volunteered and gave them your time.

Please contact a member of the County Management Board if you feel that you could, and would like to, offer some volunteer help.
We look forward to hearing from you!
