Officiating Criteria for Competitions
NYNAL Division 1
B Award and above
C Award or ‘actively working toward B’ with approval from the officiating sub group
NYNAL Division 2
C Award or above
NYNAL Division 3
C award or Above
Junior league U-12
C Award or above
Junior league- All other age groups.
B Award and above.
C Award “Actively working toward B” with approval of the officiating sub group.
Ridings Summer League
B Award and above.
C Award “Actively working toward B” with approval of the officiating sub group.
Our definition of “Actively working toward B “ Would be that the learner has;
Attended a B course within the last 2 years Or has passed the B written paper within 2 years (4 years if passed at A)
Is working with a recognised mentor.
Has been approved by a B Award assessor - Or if not available, a C award assessor will suffice. Provided these criteria are met, a learner will be approved to be “Actively working toward” and will be granted permission to officiate in the above leagues.
