Netball in North Yorkshire should be safe and enjoyable for everyone.
If someone is in immediate danger
If a child or adult is at immediate risk of harm, call the police on 999. Do not wait for a reply from the county association.
Safeguarding in North Yorkshire netball
Our clubs are required to ensure they comply with safeguarding requirements and good practice.
Every club playing in our leagues is required to comply with safeguarding requirements and good practice. If you have a concern about the way netball is being delivered — at a club, at a county session, or at a competition — we want to hear about it.
Raising a concern
Speak to your club welfare officer
Most concerns are best raised first with the club, which will have its own welfare contact.
Contact the county
If the concern involves the club itself, or you would rather not raise it there, contact the county association.

England Netball, as the national governing body, operates the sport's safeguarding framework and can be contacted directly.
